On January 1st, as an act of thanks and kindness, members of Harbor District’s Ocean View United Methodist Church in Oak Island assembled 100 care kits for U.S. military troops deployed overseas.
The project was done in cooperation with Harbor District’s Military Community Outreach Team (MCOT) and in support of Operation Gratitude, The kits will be distributed to our troops deployed overseas.
Other churches in Harbor District are in the process of collecting items in preparation for the district wide Operation Gratitude packing event that will be held Feb 29, 2020 at Epworth UMC in Clinton. Point of contact is Rev. Dalma Cribb 910-234-0682.
