Has anyone in your church ever asked the question “Where are all of the young people?” or “Why don’t we have more children and youth?” or “How can we attract younger families to our church?”
On Feb 1, Harbor District will be offering a training workshop on Attracting, Engaging & Retaining Millennials from 10am to 12noon at St. Paul’s UMC in Carolina Beach.
Topics covered will include:
- Understanding the Millennial generation (folks in the 18-35 age range).
- Tips for bringing younger singles and families to your church
- How to get them engaged in the life of the church
- How to keep them coming
You’ll learn several practical tips, helpful ideas and also hear some real-world success stories from churches in our district and elsewhere.
This workshop is 2 hours in length and contains a mixture of slides, video clips and interactive exercises.
You will come away from the training with a draft of a plan that you can then review with and build on with others (individuals and/or committees) in your church.
This workshop is free but registration is required. To register click HERE
NOTE: This training can also be conducted at your church for any size and composition of group from the whole congregation to a single committee. If you are interested in having a workshop at your church please click HERE
