As part of its continued response efforts to the victims of Hurricane Matthew, Harbor District has selected a home to repair in Whiteville that sustained significant damage due to the hurricane. The home owner, Pearlie Shipman (pictured below) has not been able to safely live in her home for nearly two years due to the storm related damage and has been unable to obtain help from other sources.
The 99 churches of Harbor District will rally around this project and provide support through their donations; the sending of work teams and their prayers. The goal is to make the much needed repairs on the home so that Pearlie can live there safely again as soon as possible.
