Are you looking for something meaningful to do after covid?
Are you are looking for a way to give back?
Are you seeking a way to express your love of Christ by doing something for the least of us?
A mission trip to Africa is the answer!
Mission of Hope is planning 2 mission teams for this fall and you are invited to go.
Sign up for a 10 day trip to beautiful Sierra Leone, West Africa with a mission team lead by Mission of Hope. You will fly to Freetown and from there travel by car to the remote village of Rotifunk. There, you will be met by wonderful, warm, loving people and adorable children.
While there you will tour the Rotifunk hospital where 25-30 health babies are born per month, visit surrounding villages and help with a health clinic for mothers and children, meet with the local paramount chief, and take a trip on the Bumpeh River to outlying villages.
You will stay as a team in a secure, comfortable house with running water and toilets, and be provided local, nourishing meals.
Daily devotionals and discussions will bring you closer to God and to a better understanding of the people of Sierra Leone. This is one of the poorest areas in the world but the people are full of hope and always excited to greet us.
We are taking applications for the next two trips in November and early December 2021. Each team will have only 5 or 6 members including a trained leader. The trip, including air fare will cost approximately $3,000. In order to go you will need a valid passport, a visa for Sierra Leone, to have several vaccines, and to attend an 8 hour training program with your team.
