NC Conference Congregations 4 Children is proud to announce that the following churches in the Harbor District have received C4C Mini-Grants.

Hampstead UMC, William Holliday, Pastor; Peggy Harris, C4C Coordinator 

Hampstead UMC and its partners give ALL second-grade students in Pender County Schools five books to take home each year. On April 29, 2024, they provided 4,000 books to over 850 students. The C4C grant will give them a head start in 2025.

Wesleyan Chapel UMC, Scotts Hill, Susanne Priddy, Pastor   

They will use their C4C Grant to supplement their backpack program and help Hampstead UMC with the book program.

Chadbourn UMC, Mark Hicks, Pastor; Liz White, C4C Coordinator

C4C grant funds are being used to make Teacher Activity Packets for Chadbourn Elementary School teachers this summer.

Congratulations to these churches and their school partners. Information for C4C Fall/Winter Grants will be available in September.
