Most of us know last week in the United Methodist Church was the time for the Jurisdictional Conferences.
“Every four years the jurisdictional conferences meet to elect new bishops and select members of general boards and agencies. Annual conferences located outside the United States are organized into central conferences, much like jurisdictions.” (UMC.org)
This week as I was reading about the different Jurisdictions I paid special attention to two… Southeastern Jurisdiction and North Central Jurisdiction. These two are the places… the spaces… of grace God gave to me as a gift of love to flourish. I would like to share with you the place… the space… of grace from the ten candidates of the North Central Jurisdiction. The 10 candidates choose to gather weekly online to support and pray for each other. They also stood to read a shared liturgy and prayer during the NCJ Conference.
